Sound Advice Lead Bartender

Role Description

1.    Maintain patron satisfaction by monitoring, evaluating, and auditing beverage and service offerings; cultivate relationships with preferred patrons; maintain good community relations

2.    Implement Company policies and standard operating procedures (SOP); evaluate and improve such policies and SOP. 

3.    Quality Control: With the assistance of, Food and Beverage Manager, Beverage Coordinator and Proprietors LLC, oversee and maintain quality standards of preparation and service for beverage offerings.

4.    Bar Organization and Cleanliness: oversee organizational and cleanliness systems and standards for all bar and beverage related back-of-house areas. 

5.    Use key result indicators and metrics to drive meaningful changes in behaviors and business results

a.    Builds competencies in using KRI’s (weekly business review, F&BSPP, Gross Margins, Product Mix Inventory Variances Control, etc…)

6.    Beverage Inventory: maintain ordering and inventory system for all spirits, wines, beers, and dry goods related to beverage service. Order and maintain a responsible level of beverage inventory within the defined budget of the Company, while not unnecessarily exceeding expected volume for each week. 

7.    Maintain effective communication with bar staff. 

8.    Staff Selection: assist Company to interview and select bar staff.  

9.    Staff Oversight: In conjunction with Food and Beverage Manager, oversee bar staff, including staff scheduling, beverage education, uniform maintenance, hospitality standards, service standards, and general accordance with Company policy.

10.    Staff Training: With the assistance of Proprietors LLC, assist in training bar staff in all areas related to beverage service, including offerings and standards for execution and service.

11.    Bartending Shifts: work three to four bartending shifts per week on a schedule agreed to by Company.

12.    Use one non-bar shift day per week to complete Lead Bartender activities.
