Role Description

The Hourly Operations Manager is a professional leader who will bring excellent communication, organizational and customer service skills for a challenging Swap Meet. The Hourly Operations Manager will maximize business results, deploy continuous improvement with vendor revenue reconciliation; collections; payroll; purchasing; invoice processing; employee scheduling and facility management. The Hourly Operations Manager is responsible for achieving financial and developmental objectives.

 

Main responsibilities:

  • Achieve Annual EBITDA.
  • Explore methods to increase vendor sales, propose and work to implement.
  • Pursue short term ancillary income opportunities.
  • Proactively manage the asset; perform daily site inspections; conduct safety meetings regularly.
  • Translate financial information; observational data; employee & customer feedback into action that will minimize risk.
  • Implement codified processes to transfer skills to others, develop non-person dependent business competencies.
  • Maintain oversight for site operating systems, alarms, surveillance, repairs and maintenance, equipment, work processes and provide recommendations for change.
  • Develop cognitive understanding of employment compliance laws.  
  • Ensure the business is operated in a safe manner for our customers and members.

 

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum High School Diploma or Equivalent GED.
  • Minimum 2-5 years management experience in retail or hospitality, preferably a high-level guest services environment managing multiple shifts with over 10 employees.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including with bilingual (Spanish) capability.
